The truth is that I Love Close To My Heart because I love the people. Went to my upline's for a team meeting today and left feeling loved.  Yep, it's the people who put the heart in Close To My Heart.

Another Challenge

This is what I am working on now.  I'm using Dotty for You and this month's Stamp of The Month. This month's scrapbook challenge from H2H The Close To My Heart Challenge Blog Check it out Here

What challenges you?

I follow a few blogs. One that I like especially is by the fabulously talented Tresa Black.   She posted a card recently and what she said challenged me. I decided to see  if I could  do what she was trying to do with the same parameters for color scheme (using  Dotty for You  papers) and using only one stamp set, this month's  Stamp Of The Month.   Here are my results.   Check out Tresa's card here. One of the best features of paper is that it has 2 sides. If you goof up on one side  you can turn it over.  That's why I made the next card.  These are the prints on  the back (or front) of the yellow stripe paper and the yellow dot paper.   Totally different,  but I'm still using  Dotty for You  and the  Stamp of The Month , "You are...".  I cut out 2 butterflies and stitched them together to make the embellishment. Some challenges in life are extremely difficult... and then some of them  are just plain FUN!

More Dotty for You

Another Dotty for You layout:  The Sand page is almost exactly like the Surf page in the inspiration guide except...it says sand instead of surf, it says warms your toes instead of hang ten, and I used my scallop punch and circle punch, I also added a Flip Flap(Z1726) to add some more pictures and journaling, and finally I made a companion page. I am not much of a bling person but i thought the Sparkles Flourishes (Z1708) were reminiscent of the sparkling water and really made the layout. My CTMH Ruler (Z1471)made the stitching accent easy and precise. The simple look of these pages is very appealing and so different than the layout I posted yesterday though both were from the Dotty for You paper packet.
Here is my interpretation of two of the layouts in the inspiration page you get with the Dotty for You paper packet.  You can see that the single page was inspired by the page in the add. I had fun choosing the papers that went best with my photos.  I also cut out some of the images from the B&T paper for accents.  I did the same thing with the left side of the layout using another page pictured in the inspiration page. If you're driving past Black River Falls, Wisconsin you just might want to stop to see the moose.
