Organizing my studio. Getting ready for all of the new products in the Fall /Winter Idea book which will be released Aug.1! As a Consultant I got a sneak peek on the 15th and my new books should arrive any day. I love the new paper packs, some great embellishments and....our very own Cricut cartridge. I did not have a Cricut but this inspired me to shop around. My birthday is coming up soon afterall.

A few things you might want to know:

There will be 4 paper packs carried over into the new book. They are Sophia, Mayberry, Lucky and Fanfare.
Bliss, Sweetheart, Wings, Hooligans, Mistletoe, Olivia, Magnifique and Miracle will be retiring.If you want any of these order before Aug.1

Markers and Stamp pads will no longer be sold in sets, only individually.

The price of My Acrylix stamps will be going down. :)

The price of Cardstock is going up. The price will go from $9.50 to $14.50. Here is a chance for you to save if you order before Aug.1 Only some colors will be available in the single color packs.

Dimensional Elements Monogram Chipboard going up from $3.25 to $3.95.

Just wanted to let you know so you can stock up on anything that is going up in price or retiring as of Aug.1.

Studio J Helps Fight Depression

This week I was feeling depressed after returning from a trip to Seattle where I spent time with Daniel, Tiffany and Laura. Tom and I had time to relax and do a few Seattle things so of course I took pictures. I uploaded my pictures but the thought of cleaning up my space to start scrapbooking was overwhelming. Then I got the idea to do some Studio J layouts. The pictures of my loved ones lifted my spirits. Picking the layout components felt a bit like shopping, which can be good therapy. I was a winner and I didn't even know it!

You may have noticed a gap in my blog from about July 2012 until now…sometimes events in life knock you out of the game and that's just what happened to me.  I am building a new life and I knew that when I started scrapbooking again this summer, I was on my way.   So, I joined Close To My Heart again as an Independent Consultant.  It felt so good to reconnect with my dear sweet upline Jillene Moen and our Loony Scrappers community.  Of course I love the Close To My Heart products and find that I can create anything I want to with them.
